A friend of mine recently recommended Kerry Ann Rocquemore's method, which I think boils down to sit your ass down and write 30 minutes a day. It doesn't matter how much or how little you write--just sit down and do it.
(I've never managed to maintain this kind of discipline. I'm more of an Ignore-the-Ms.-for-9-months and then Write-A-Chapter-in-a-Weekend kind of gal. I am not proud of this method, but I guess I have to recognize that it works for me.)
I usually can do that. In fact, it's an approach that I've repeatedly advocated when I was co-running the writing group. And now... Now I feel like I need to eat a bit of humble pie. Because this semester has kicked my ass all the way around the block and back again.

Hi H'ann!
I usually can do that. In fact, it's an approach that I've repeatedly advocated when I was co-running the writing group. And now... Now I feel like I need to eat a bit of humble pie. Because this semester has kicked my ass all the way around the block and back again.
