Things proceed apace. Yesterday I even got most of my desk cleaned off.**
Here's a picture I took of someone else doing some tidying -- much more visually charming than my own activities:
**25% filed, 25% thrown out or recycled, 50% thrown into a pile in my inbox that will have to be sorted through before the semester begins. But at least I have a visible flat surface.

If it makes you feel any better, I realized this evening that somewhere in my new office is a box half-full of bills and bank statements that are a half-decade old and need to be shredded. There just wasn't time before I left the country. (Which is a sentence we should be able to use more often.)
I'm not usually into cutsie kid photos, but that one is gorgeous. I just love her studied intensity.
Dagnabbit dagnabbit I've been there too I'm pretty sure so jealous now (both of your trip and your photo ability).
