I wonder how my attitude would change

...if I were to assume that every irritating behavior that I encountered** was actually part of a performance art piece?

I think I'd fret less and giggle more.

Reminding myself that the things that most irritate me in others recapitulate my own character flaws helps me keep a sense of humor.

tee hee, I've been attempting a more Buddhist approach, believing that few people walk around with bad intentions, no matter what the outcome, but the PA approach would be far more hilarious I'm sure

Maybe I'll start responding as if I"m in a PA piece, life as art, you know.....
