I've got to admit, it's getting better
I've now furnished the apartment. There are boxes everywhere. There is still no food in the fridge. But the boxes from UPS arrived today, a few hours after the 
furniture, so I've been able to settle in.

How lucky you are, to have good four footed neighbors. Oh, all right. And two footed.
Yep. And I can't tell you how nice it was to have someone go out of their way to make me feel welcome.
