Alive, and getting aliver every day

Hi All --

Thanks for your concern. Sadly, it was not misplaced. A third visit to immediate care on Sunday led to an emergency room visit, a "procedure" on my throat that I won't even describe (except to say that it was both painful and disgusting), and a two-night stay in the hospital on a constant antibiotic drip. I'm home now, and hoping to be writing soon.

Negative: I still haven't managed to get a latte.

Positive: I appear to have quit smoking.

More work-related dispatches soon. I'm going to go eat some soup now.

Well hooray for quitting smoking! I hope that the procedure is over and you'll never have another; and that you are on the road to well and will have latte infusion soon!

Feel better!

Holy crap!
1. A "procedure"!
2. No latte!
3. No cigarettes!

I've never known you to be that sick. I'm glad you're on the road to recovery, gal! Keep it that way. That's an order.

Holy crap. Sorry you're so sick and hope you're feeling better soon. FWIW, I once quit smoking after a horrible round of bronchitis. Hope the no smoking thing sticks (and you get your latte!).

Ow.

I'm awfully sorry you had a "procedure," but I'm glad you're on the mend.

Sending good thoughts . . . .

Hey! Missed the illness, but glad to hear a resolution, and hope the upward path is still continuing!
