For those of you trying to guess the location of Fellowship City...

...it's not in the tropics:

This was the view from my front porch yesterday. And this photo was shot an hour and a half before the snow stopped falling. If blowing sideways can really be counted as "falling." Needless to say, I chose to work from home that day.

Go ahead, all you with your jobs in the snow-free states. Laugh it up.

Heh.

One year, I had a job in a city that received 35 straight days of snow; we had 60" in one month. I was glad to leave that city. So much snow is no laughing matter; I will not laugh at you, even though it hasn't snowed a single bit here this year.

Dang it, I WANT more snow! I want to be snowed in! (With good food and power and all that good stuff, of course.)

Although digging out one's car is a royal PITA, I grant you.

I'm not laughing, but I am snow free. And it is good.

It was 58 degrees and mildly sunny today in Portland. Love you Re!
